One Killed In Midday Shooting Under Investigation In Maryland: Police (Developing)

One person is dead following a midday shooting in Maryland on Thursday afternoon, authorities announced.

At approximately 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the 3200 block of Walters Lane, where there was a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, police say that officers found a man in the area who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.

Police have not released the name or age of the victim. No suspects have been identified.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Officers were still at the scene at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Thursday afternoon to investigate, according to the department. No suspect or motive has been determined.
